Kyo Behavior Technician

Fwded message:

My name is Alex Chong and I am the Campus Coordinator and Senior Registered Behavior Technician at Kyo Autism Therapy. We currently have full-time and part-time Behavior Technician (BT) positions available for USF students to gain professional experience and clinical training in the healthcare, educational, child development, and psychological fields, which can elevate any resume! Please feel free to forward this email to your students and faculty!

Kyo is a leading provider of autism and behavior intervention services and our treatment methodology is based on the proven-effective science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which implements strategies to produce socially significant changes in behavior. Behavior Technicians utilize the techniques from their training to guide their clients through communicative interactions, social relationships, daily living skills, academic achievement, emotional regulation, and behavioral management in home, school, and community settings.

A background in ABA can help USF students develop the skills and interventions used to anticipate, mitigate, and eventually avoid maladaptive behaviors altogether to support children of all ages in achieving their goals! Each child we work with has a personalized therapy program designed specifically to address their unique needs while incorporating their interests and talents. Each Behavior Technician is supported by a team of supervisors and mentors to continually and collaboratively improve the lives of the clients we serve.

We are hiring both undergraduate and graduate students and offer flexible work hours to accommodate school schedules! We also provide paid training to prepare our clinicians to deliver ABA services and we currently have sign-on bonuses within the Bay Area for Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians ranging from $500-$3k!

If you have any questions or you would like to schedule a meeting to learn more about how Kyo can employ USF students, please feel free to email me at alexkc@kyocare.com or visit our website! I look forward to hearing from you and thank you, in advance, for your time!

With gratitude,

Alex Chong, BA, RBT
