Comfort Zone Camp
Volunteer Camp Coordinator
Good Morning!

I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Comfort Zone Camp. Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit organization that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Our programs are free of charge and include trust-building activities and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone’s programs are offered to children ages 7-17, and their families for the family programs, plus we offer young adult programs for 18-25-year-olds.

August 4-6, 2023, we will be holding a free weekend camp, specifically for kids who have lost someone significant.

I am contacting you to see if you would pass this opportunity along to anyone who might be interested. The volunteer opportunity would include a weekend at CYO Camp. Each volunteer would be paired with a child ranging in ages 7-17. The volunteer would be what we call a "Big Buddy" and be a mentor to the child for the weekend. There are other volunteer roles available to anyone looking to serve in a different capacity.

Volunteers would only need to get trained and they would be all set. If you would like more information or would like to apply, click here.
